Team Sensei VS. Lone Warriors

The arena stood quite as the monumentous doors that faced each other from across the ring slowly began to creep open.

Steelheart grasped the chain around his leg. "You ready Eileen?"

Zole walked out of another door and glanced at the others across the arena,"Heh, easy fight I think."

Crysta looks down from where she had been sitting in the stands the whole time. "Perhaps....perhaps not. Which one do you want to play with?"

He smirked,"I'll take the one holding the chains."

Crysta shrugged. "Suit yourself. I guess I get the one called Eileen."

Eileen rolled her neck in a graceful motion, and, ironically, the cracking sound that followed was anything but graceful. She smirked. "Of course Steelheart. I'm always ready."

"Lets show these rookies how the old schoolers kick but. Whos up first judge misty?" Steelheart flinched at the neck popping of his partner then addressed his question to the presiding judge.

Zole snorted,"Rookies? i'm way older than all of you lot..."

Crysta giggled. "Rookies? My my, talk like that is quite pathetic. If you were a true warrior you would know that talk like that is pointless and makes you look stupid."

"Look who's talking Miss Giggles," Elieen said icily, smirking the girl down as she took a cat-like walk on the ground, twirling her daggers 'round her wrists, never missing a beat.

Crysta raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong with giggling? It just means that a person is enjoying themselves." She watched the daggers, taking in the length and weight. "Nice daggers by the way."

Zole frowned,"Crysta, Dont bait her...if they want old school as he says, then we shall show them it."

Misty thought for a momment,"I decide that Crysta and Eileen go first."

Zole snorted and walked off to sit in the stands,"Heh...This should be quick."

Crysta smiled and popped her fingers and neck before walking to the middle of the arena. "May we start when we chose, or do we wait for a ready, set, and go?"

In an elegant manner, Elieen rolled her body backwards into a backflip (though it was more of a backwards cartwheel), landing gracefully without a sound. She got herself ready in a stance, her eyes focused on her opponent, not a single word esaping her pretty little lips.

Misty looked at them,"Ready? Begin!"

1.Crysta grinned and raised one of her hands, sucking moisture out of the air. She gathered it around her, ready to use it at any time. "For your sake I hope it doesn't start raining!"

1.Elieen smirked. "A little rain never hurt anyone," she said in a deep voice, the volume not getting any louder than a whisper. She began to methodically twirl her daggers 'round her wrists again, a slow, steady motion. Whump. Whump. Whump. Whump. The sound of the air being sliced by her blades was the only sound she made, her eyes intently gazing at Crysta, sometimes flickering away for a small moment, to monitor her surroundings.

2.Crysta took some of her moisture and put it around her feet, creating a watery globe around each to where her feet weren't touching the ground. She water-glided closer to Elieen, taking more moisture to create ice armor around her.

2.Elieen kept her stance, watching Crysta carefully, assessing her. Elieen was wise enough to know that you could never underestimate your opponent. You had to consider their weight, speed, powers, weapons.. You even had to include dumb luck in the equation. And Elieen wasn't about to loose to dumb luck.

3.Crysta attacked Elieen, slashing at her with the ice sword, which could become longer if necessary. Crysta smiled sweetly as she sent ice spikes out of her other hand towards Elieen.

3.Elieen, whose daggers were on the longer sides themselves, put one up to defend herself, blocking the first attack the Crysta had put against her. Elieen smirked and withdrew, flipping backwards so that the ice spikes barely missed her wiry body.

4.Crysta jumped after her, following her to the ground while throwing more spikes. she took more moisture and created hundreds of long three foot ice spikes that floated beside her.

4.Alternating which dagger she used, Elieen blocked the smaller spikes. As soon as the wave ended she sprang forward with a thrusting motion, going for Crysta's stomach.

5.Throwing ice-daggers towards Elieen, Crysta dodged the dagger that was pointed to her stomach. She gathered ice around her hands and created whips that extended from her hands. She whip out at Elieen, the whips extending past ten feet.

5. A few of the daggers grazed Elieen's skin, but it wasn't nearly enough to draw a large amount of blood. One of the whips grabbed her ankle, but she landed and thrust her dagger into the ice, cracking and splitting it into hundreds of pieces. With a smirk she lept upwards again, this time slashing at Crysta's left wrist. If I can cut a tendon, she won't be able to hold anything.

6. Crysta dodged to the side, but not quite quick enough. The knife cut her arm and nicked the tendon, but ice immediately covered the wound and stopped the bleeding. The spikes that where still floating around Crysta acted now, moving so that they where pointing at Elieen from all angles only about a foot away from her. There was barely inches between each of the spikes. Shadows came from Crysta and joined the Ice spikes, fusing with them. "Cutting tendons wont do you much good when I don't have to move anything to direct the ice. Now, how will you escape my dark icy prison?"

6. Elieen smirked, then answered with, "Watch and learn." Elieen brought her daggers' blades together, rubbing the rough edges against one another until they were almost red, her arms moving so quickly it was indeed a sight to see. Plunging them both into the ice it cracked, heating from the friction Elieen had stirred between her two blades. The ice broke, setting her free.

7. Crysta shrugged and sent a few ice dagger up into the air. "I think it's time for some more moisture, don't you?" Rain clouds where already starting to form above them. "Can you guess what will happen now?"

7. "A little rain never hurt anyone," Elieen replied in a cool tone, taking a step to the side. Then in a quick flash, she threw one of her daggers at the girl, thje tip headed straight for her forehead. Elieen bounded upwards after it. She won't have time to dodge both attacks... Elieen thought with a smirk.

8. Crysta smiled and raised her arm, which was still covered fully with ice. The dagger stuck into her arm as she turned the ice on her other arm into a shadow covered sword. She trust her sword towards Elieen's heart. There's a rather very slim chance that she can dodge this fully at the speed that she's going at.

8. Elieen brought her foot down hard onto the sword, bending it and using it to thrust herself forward, still aiming for Crysta's heart. A smirk danced across her lips, her eyes flashing with thrill.

9. Crysta frowned as ice extended from her upper armor and grabbed the dagger aimed for her heart. The ice stopped the attack and spread to cover Elieen's arm. Crysta brought her sword around towards Elieen's head while her other arm's armor started growing ice spikes out of it.

9. With a swift jerk of her slender arm Elieen snapped the ice, a scowl settling across her pretty pink lips. She moved to the side so that the sword only lightly grazed her skin, causing only a small dribble of blood to appear, nothing that Elieen couldn't handle. She landed, and pushed herself from the ground again.

10. Crysta frowned sadly and looked up to the sky to see it start raining. She knelt on the ground and put her hands on a spot of mud. Immediately ice started to form on the ground and the ice spiked up and out. "I wonder how long you can stay off the ground....the moment you touch the ice it will attack you."

10. "And your powers shall not last forever." Elieen, although without any special talents, knew that just like running or fighting, using such powers as Crysta did would eventually run her down. Eileen just had to wait until that happened, then she'd be ready to strike.

11. Crysta smiled. "True, but I wonder which of us will run out first..." She looked at her ice, which was slowly forming. "Unless you can somehow fly, I highly doubt that you can land without getting injured, for there isn't enough room for anyone in between the spikes. Even injuring me won't stop the spread of the ice; it'll keep growing until I stop it or I die."

11. "Then I suppose I'll have to kill you, if you put it that way," Elieen replied with a smirk. What the girl didn't know was simple, really- break the spikes off the top and all you have is a thin layer of ice to slide on. Even Elieen could use this to her advantage, if she played her cards right. She took a running start, sliding her foot into the ice, snapping off the spikes as she went. She picked up a few as she went, throwing them like daggers at the girl, even if it was only to distract her.

12. Crysta frowned and flipped to the side, ice spikes flattening so she could land on them. She air-punched forward, sending icy fists towards Elieen. She then raised the spikes around her, thickening them, and ice from the back of her ice armor flowed and connected with the ice.

12. Elieen moved to the side, the fists zooming past her head. She continued forward. Elieen was willing to do all that it took to win. It was time to formulate a plan. Everyone has some sort of weakness, no matter how many powers they possessed. There was always something that could hinder them in some shape or way.

13. Sighing, Crysta pulled ice from the spikes around her through the back of her armor and stood still while the her ice armor started extending. It extended the rest of the way down her front and back while ice crawled up her legs to complete the armor. Jumping up, she disconnected from the ice and started towards Elieen. "I grow bored of playing now. Lets finish this today, shall we?"

13. "It will be my pleasure." Elieen had been saving something very special. It was an Elven incation that brought fire's wrath from the depths of the magical powers which most elves possess. She put her hands together, and muttered in elvish, calling down fire, which burned down quickly, heading straight for Crysta.

14. Crysta frowned at that and created ice crystal above the fire, which melted the ice and turned it into rain. The rain put out a little of the fire, but not quite enough for her to escape without her armor melting off on one side and her arm getting a little burned. "Darn you, you've gone and melted some of my armor and burned me!" Crysta's frown turned into a glare and she started throwing ice spears at Elieen.

2008-05-31 [~Crimson Angel~]: Yeah.

2008-06-01 [Akayume]: I have a question!
Does the arena have a roof or not?
I'm asking because if it does indeed have a roof, then it wouldn't be able to rain on the inside.

2008-06-01 [Eyonic]: ooo, that's a good question. does it?

2008-06-01 [twitchboy]: um...wouldnt the sediment in the mud greatly reduce the ice reation time to attack? idk just a thought

2008-06-01 [twitchboy]: um i made it but i didnt factor that in.... misty its your call

2008-06-02 [Akayume]: (Sorry to be a pain, but I had to ask. XD)

2008-06-02 [Eyonic]: crysta can create ice from any moisture, including that which is in the mud...

2008-06-02 [~Crimson Angel~]: no the arena doesn't have a roof.

2008-06-02 [Eyonic]: okiday then

2008-06-02 [twitchboy]: well...the mud would slow it down wouldnt it?

2008-06-02 [Akayume]: (I'll wait till twitchboy's question is answered.)
Someone should look it up somewhere with science-y stuff? o.O

2008-06-03 [Hiro Kitaki]: auctually it depends on the dirt to water raito. if there is more water it isent slowed down at all, if there is more dirt it is.

2008-06-03 [twitchboy]: well it is a stone areana so it would be a low concetration...comtinue the fight i geuss

2008-06-03 [Hiro Kitaki]: if it is stone i would hazard a guess that it would slow the formation of ice by about 50% give or take a few points.

2008-06-03 [Akayume]: O.o Which means?... (I'm challenged in the science/physics area, sorry...)

2008-06-03 [twitchboy]: if your fast the ice wont be as fast as it should be...sorry just trying my best to help my team mate

2008-06-05 [~Crimson Angel~]: That is true.

2008-06-05 [Akayume]: Okay, okay, so then... If Elieen isn't slow, she'll be semi-okay?

2008-06-05 [Hiro Kitaki]: it dosent matter how fast she is, the ice formation is slowed.

2008-06-05 [Akayume]: Alright. I get it now. (: (Once again.. sorry. >.> I hate science.. XD)

2008-06-05 [Hiro Kitaki]: tis ok.
